Innovation Norway

Innovation Norway wanted to increase the use of innovative procurement in the humanitarian sector. One of the challenges is that innovative procurements are a bit difficult to carry out and quite time and resource consuming. With that as a starting point, we prepared a guide for innovation-friendly procurement. Innovation-friendly procurement is a good starting point for organizations that want to have a greater focus on innovation in their procurement. By focusing a little more on a good needs analysis, carrying out some market dialogue activities and having more open requirements specifications, you can get a much greater innovation potential in ordinary procurement without requiring too much. The guide says a lot more about this, so just send us a message and we will send it to you!

Troms and Finnmark County Council

Together with Troms and Finnmark County Council, we prepared an application for innovation partnerships for innovation Norway for the project "securing avalanches on the road". They came through the eye of the needle, and we have assisted in the work on demand analysis, structuring of the project and the development of a requirement specification. The majority of our work in the project has been related to the market dialogue where through the portal we have www.markedsdialog.no have secured thorough and common information to the market, been responsible for implementation and registration for dialogue conferences and one-on-one meetings, secured a large degree of media coverage, cooperation with a number of networks and clusters. In all the work, we have focused on meeting startups and entrepreneurs and suppliers who do not usually deliver in this area – and motivate them to submit a tender.

Rollag Municipality

The change manager in Rollag municipality had a wild idea; can the health center that the municipality wants built in a few years become a health-promoting building - "a building that heals" ?. Well, we said and connected to the project and tried to keep up with the municipality's great level of ambition. After a preliminary study, the answer was "yes!". Through 2020 and 2021, we have assisted the municipality in finding the right level of innovation, weighing risk against price and not least applying the principles in innovation-friendly procurements; actively engage in dialogue with potential entrepreneurs, competence environments and other partners, and get them to jump on the ball to enter as suppliers to the future health center in Rollag. You will find out if the project reaches its goal during 2024!

Assistance on innovative procurements

Do you want an increased focus on innovation in your ordinary procurements or try an innovative procurement? We have templates and tools for all phases up to publication, and have a special focus on effective and value-creating dialogue with the market.

UN Global Compact

The UN Global Compact is the UN's organization for sustainable business. They have started an investment in sustainable business in the Arctic, where the goal is to develop new solutions that in an effective way contribute to solving some of the sustainability challenges for business in the north. Tinkr has been hired as process manager and we are responsible for leading the companies through an innovation process. In the process, we define and choose which problems we are to solve, develop ideas for solutions, choose which solutions we want to develop and contribute to the solutions being used by as many people as possible so that it creates the greatest possible value.

Propeller factory

When VINN-Narvik established a leadership development program for young people in northern Norway with the aim of ensuring that young people have greater influence over the development of society, they included a practical introduction to creativity and innovation. They asked if we could contribute. We developed a one-day process where we took the participants from challenge to proposal for a solution. In this way, they got to try themselves as innovators who were to solve important challenges in the society around them. Not only did they come up with good ideas that several of the local clients took on, they also got a toolbox with methodology and tools that they can use in their work and as community changers - or propellers as they call it.

Victoria University

Victoria University in Uganda, has in recent years focused on creativity and innovation to ensure that students' skills match the needs of the labor market. They wanted to explore the possibility of an innovation hub where students can solve challenges with relevant partners and societal actors. Tinkr led a process where we, together with the management, employees and students, explored the link between studies and working life, and the potential of the innovation hub. The process was divided into three where we first had a workshop with the management about goals, motivation and framework. Then a full-day process with a focus on the development of solution proposals and finally a process with the employees with a focus on solution development, organizational perspective and roles.

Process management

Good processes are targeted and efficient, have good energy, ensure active participation and give concrete results. Then we must use the tools that suit the task. We lead small and large processes, physically and digitally.
