Coca Cola Beverages Africa

Coca-Cola Beverages Africa is one of Uganda's largest employers, and has a clear focus on innovation. They selected 20 of their most motivated employees and during 6 months, 4 two-day sessions and work between sessions, we developed together with the management team a dedicated, knowledgeable and insanely inspiring team of "innovation champions". Through the program, they got to work practically with the innovation process and organizational development. They also received concrete tools, knowledge replenishment and outside inspiration. One of the results was that CCBA designed a structured innovation process to take ideas for tested solutions. They also received far more ideas with higher quality from the entire organization. It was fantastic to hear what the participants had learned and the improvement suggestions they presented to the management.

Transport division TFFK

We have worked with the transport division in the county municipalities in Finnmark / Troms and Finnmark for many years, and after they had put in place a strategy, a good culture and good structures, we saw that there was a need for a separate team that could work with this. All departments selected one person for the innovation team and we worked with them to put in place a clear mandate, good structures and necessary expertise. It is fun to see how even those who were a little unsure of the value of this work at first got an unexpected glow and commitment to innovation.

UN Global Compact

The UN Global Compact is the UN's organization for sustainable business. They have started an investment in sustainable business in the Arctic, where the goal is to develop new solutions that in an effective way contribute to solving some of the sustainability challenges for business in the north. Tinkr has been hired as process manager and we are responsible for leading the companies through an innovation process. In the process, we define and choose which problems we are to solve, develop ideas for solutions, choose which solutions we want to develop and contribute to the solutions being used by as many people as possible so that it creates the greatest possible value.

Propeller factory

When VINN-Narvik established a leadership development program for young people in northern Norway with the aim of ensuring that young people have greater influence over the development of society, they included a practical introduction to creativity and innovation. They asked if we could contribute. We developed a one-day process where we took the participants from challenge to proposal for a solution. In this way, they got to try themselves as innovators who were to solve important challenges in the society around them. Not only did they come up with good ideas that several of the local clients took on, they also got a toolbox with methodology and tools that they can use in their work and as community changers - or propellers as they call it.

Victoria University

Victoria University in Uganda, has in recent years focused on creativity and innovation to ensure that students' skills match the needs of the labor market. They wanted to explore the possibility of an innovation hub where students can solve challenges with relevant partners and societal actors. Tinkr led a process where we, together with the management, employees and students, explored the link between studies and working life, and the potential of the innovation hub. The process was divided into three where we first had a workshop with the management about goals, motivation and framework. Then a full-day process with a focus on the development of solution proposals and finally a process with the employees with a focus on solution development, organizational perspective and roles.

Process management

Good processes are targeted and efficient, have good energy, ensure active participation and give concrete results. Then we must use the tools that suit the task. We lead small and large processes, physically and digitally.
